Requirement: Presided over ALL FOUR York Rite Bodies
To be elected a Knight of the York Cross of Honour requires that an individual be elected and "Complete his Service" as Worshipful Master of his Symbolic Lodge, High Priest of his Royal Arch Chapter, Illustrious Master of his Cryptic Council, and Commander of his Commandery (or Preceptory) of Knights Templar. He then must be sponsored by a member Knight and pass a unanimous ballot.

PROCLAMATION
FOR
Ronald Edward Ericksen
Eminent Past Prior
WHEREAS: The Supreme Convent General on High has seen fit in his infinite wisdom to call upon Ronald Edward Ericksen to lay down his working tools and become a member of his official family on February 15, 2024; and
WHEREAS: Knight Ericksen served his Lodge as Worshipful Master, his Chapter as Excellent High Priest, his Council as Thrice Illustrious Master, his Commandery as Eminent Commander and was chosen to be received as a Knight of the York Cross of Honour; and
WHEREAS: Knight Ericksen served Illinois Priory No. 11 with honor, dignity, and respect for others, and rose to the rank of Eminent Prior in the year 1991-1992; and
WHEREAS: Eminent Past Prior Ericksen has devoted his efforts and energies very diligently on behalf of the Illinois Priory and the Convent General of the United Stated of America.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED, that this notice be posted on the KYCH-IL website and sent to all members that they receive notice thereof.
